Uganda, MT Elgon Espresso
£6.50 – £15.50
About this coffee: Uganda has borders with Kenya, Tanzania and Rwanda some of the best producers of coffee in Africa. Despite this the country has traditionally been known for growing Robusta coffee, and not the high quality arabicas of its neighbours.
The reason for this has been due to the infrastructure, history and experience rather than the climate and environment. Kyagalanyi Coffee Ltd has been working tirelessly to change the perception of Ugandan coffee by opening and operating three Arabica washing stations in the countries key growing regions.
The largest is Gibuzale, which is where this coffee was processed, and is situated in the eastern region of MT Elgon. This fantastic coffee has juicy flavours of apple, orange and praline sweetness.
