About this coffee: Café Sierra Azul co-op was formed in 2010, and the members of this group are dedicated in producing the best speciality coffee in the Siltepec region of Mexico.
Despite being relatively new, the Co-op has had incredible success during its short life, gaining both Fair Trade and Organic certifications.
Sierra Azul was developed to help Mexican farmers sell their coffee at a higher price by reaching the speciality coffee markets. This would benefit the farmers and the region of Siltepec due to the social activities that the co-op runs in the area.
