Guatemala, Finca Santa Isabel Espresso & Filter
£8.00 – £18.50
Peach, Apricots & Nectarines
What we think: Imagine opening up a tin of peaches and drinking the syrup, that’s what this coffee tastes like! When served with milk you have a cup of coffee that’s tastes like peach & nectarine cheesecake.
About this coffee: When Don Luis Valdez Sr took ownership of Finca Santa Isabel, the region of Coban didn’t have a reputation for high-quality coffee. This was due to the region’s humid climate and constant rain, causing issues in coffee harvesting and processing.
Don Luis, and his son Luis ‘Wicho’ Valdez, have made huge improvements to the farm‘s cultivation and drying practices, which has resulted in the farm being awarded in Guatemala’s Cup of Excellence twice and putting Coban on the coffee growing map.
The devotion that the Valdez family has put in to this coffee has yielded beautiful flavours of peaches, nectarines, milk chocolate and black tea.
