Costa Rica, El Buyerito Espresso & Filter
£8.00 – £18.00
Grapefruit, Chocolate & Vanilla
What we think: This is such a versatile coffee that changes completely when milk is added. As a black coffee expect to taste grapefruit, however with milk this changes into a chocolate and vanilla milkshake.
About this coffee: ‘El Buyerito’ is the name given to a person who enjoys their work and is commonly seen working alongside an ox, which are highly valued in Costa Rica as symbolic and ceremonial animals.
This name couldn’t be more fitting for the owner of this new farm, Roberto Jimenez Munoz who opened for business in 2012. Roberto uses traditional agricultural methods, like the use of oxen on El Buyerito, combined with modern machinery. His aim is to see the new farm recognized for having the best coffee from the Miramar region of Costa Rica.
His plans for the future are to continue expanding and renovating El Buyerito by replacing old trees with different varieties such as Catigua MG2 and Geisha.
This coffee is full of amazing flavours like grapefruit, chocolate and dried fruits which makes this farm one to watch in the future.
