About this coffee: La Joyeria is one of the five farms that make up the Santa Barbara Estate in Antioquia. La Joyeria means ‘The Jewel’, and was given its name by the Echaverria family, as the farm possesses everything that is needed to grow fantastic coffee.
La Joyeria sits high in the Antioquia growing region and has the high altitude, microclimates and volcanic soil that are ideal for growing speciality grade coffee. However the family is always striving to enhance their coffee quality by experimenting with different processing techniques.
The coffee at La Joyeria is picked by hand then fermented for 48 hours to produce a coffee that has flavours of stone fruits and a nutty finish.
